Welcome to my precious little corner of the internet. I’m so glad you found your way here – grab a cup of something delicious and stay awhile.

I’m Tracy, mum to two towering teenagers, originally from the north of England but now calling the south of Sweden home. By day, I’m a teacher; by night, I’m a baker (and an enthusiastic taste-tester). Photography is another passion of mine, so expect plenty of mouthwatering shots alongside the recipes.

My blogging journey started over a decade ago with The Culinary Jumble, and let’s just say, my recipes have evolved a lot since then. I’ve dabbled in gluten-free baking, waved goodbye to meat, and seven years ago, I fell head over heels for spelt flour.

Why spelt? Well, for me, it’s easier on my stomach, and I was desperate for an alternative to all-purpose (plain) flour, but gluten-free options always fell short. What I didn’t expect was how amazing spelt would be. It works beautifully in everything from crusty bread to soft, fluffy cakes. Don’t just take my word for it – check out my spelt vs. plain flour: which makes the best cupcake? for some surprising results.

However, this blog isn’t always about spelt. I believe baking should be fun, flexible, and a little bit experimental. Plus, a girl can’t live on cake alone. You’ll also find plenty of quick and easy dinner recipes. And my ready-made puff pastry recipes are among my most popular (and delicious).

Expect an eclectic mix of indulgent and wholesome dishes, with something for every occasion. And if you don’t bake with spelt, no problem. All my recipes can be made with all-purpose (plain) flour, so you’ll never miss out.

My social media followers are at around 8.000 in total. I also currently have 600 email subscribers, and last month (August 2025) my blog attracted 11,000 users. This number is rising all the time, as interest in spelt, along with my helpful tutorials, are bringing in people interested in baking with alternative flours.

I am always love to hear from my readers, so please reach out via the following methods:

Sponsored or custom-written blog posts

I spent a couple of years working as a freelance writer, so if you think my blog would be a good fit for your product, I can create a high-quality post for you. This can include developing a unique recipe tailored to your brand, writing the post in my voice and style, and including images and links.

All sponsored posts include a transparent disclaimer. Example: tiramisu chocolate cake, in collaboration with Gourmesso.

Suggested rates (USD / GBP): $200–$450 / £160–£360

Sponsored links

I am happy to add a sponsored link to my posts, as long as it feels organic and is useful to my readers. I do not accept links for gambling or gaming sites.

All sponsored links, including those in sponsored posts, will include the rel=sponsored tag, following Google’s best practices. There will also be a transparent disclaimer for anything that is sponsored. Please get in touch to hear my rates and discuss further.

Guest posts (food or kitchenware related only)

I am always on the lookout for guest post collaborations, ideally from fellow food bloggers. I will create a recipe, take pictures, and write a post. Example: polenta and clementine cake for The Bella Vita.

I may occasionally accept a guest post from someone who isn’t a food blogger, but this is rare as I have more than enough content of my own.

Suggested rates (USD / GBP): $100–$180 / £80–£145
